Dulwich Village FC won their application to be part of the game changers scheme. The idea of this scheme is to help students go beyond their studies and allow them to apply their knowledge and ideas in a real industry scenario. Throughout the next several months Tom and Lemmy will be helping DVFC with communications through social media and on the website as well as various other projects that are planned.
Lemmy:
“I am a first year International Football Business student at UCFB Wembley. I applied to join the UCFB x London FA Game Changers scheme because I wanted to have real industry experience and challenge myself by helping out in a football club. I cannot wait to help out in whatever way I can and hopefully I can soon see my impact on the club. It will be a learning curve for me but I am sure this opportunity will help me in my studies and my chances at a career in the football industry.”
Tom:
“Last September my university journey commenced as a first year Football Business and Media student at UCFB Wembley. I have a real passion for football as well as writing and content creation, therefore I did not hesitate to apply for the UCFB x London FA Game Changers programme. I am hoping I can use this opportunity to help out Dulwich Village Football Club in any department I can. Moreover, I am looking forward to meeting new people and picking up some key skills myself to enhance my aspirations of working in the sports media world.”
